Police chief appeals to communities over knife deaths

Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Sir Craig Mackey has appealed to local communities to help change the culture around knife crime. The senior officer spoke after six males were arrested after four people, including two teenagers, were stabbed to death in unrelated attacks across London in the space of 24 hours. A 17, 18 and 20-year-olds, attacked on New Year's Eve, along with a 20-year-old man knifed in the early hours of the following morning, all died as a result of their injuries. Report by Blairm.
