7 Days In Entebbe (Focus Features) Stars: Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl, Eddie Marsan
Four hijackers take over an airplane, take the passengers hostage, and force it to land in Entebbe, Uganda in 1976 in an effort to free of dozens of Palestinians jailed in Israel.
On 11 February 2016, it was announced that José Padilha(Narcos) would next direct Entebbe for Working Title Films and StudioCanal, from a script by Gregory Burke. On 29 July 2016, Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl and Vincent Cassel joined the film to play the lead roles in the film.
Principal photography on the film began on November 14, 2016 in Malta, while the production also took place in the UK. A real hijacking took place during filming at the Malta International Airport.
