Liquor shops on Highways : The hearing of the petitions by High Court stooped till July 27

The hearing of the petitions by various pubs and bars was adjourned the High Court till July 27 after the advocate for the Union government sought time to get instructions from the National Highways Authority of India and the central government.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಗರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗಳ ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾರ್ ಅಥವಾ ಪಬ್ ಗಳು ಮದ್ಯ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡಲು ಗ್ರಹಣ ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ನಗರಗಳ ಬಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಬ್ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಶೀಘ್ರವೇ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
