BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has made strong allegations amid the opposition to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Jharkhand. Referring to the 1983 Nellie violence in Assam and the issue of Bangladeshi migrants, Dubey alleged that the opposition to SIR is part of a conspiracy to turn Bangladeshi Muslims into voters.
Sharing his own video, Dubey said the protest was not against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar but was aimed at preventing the inclusion of alleged illegal migrants in India's electoral rolls.
