The history of Astrophel is a simple one. Astrophel was built on one girl and one idea. Lauren Kelley was the girl and the idea was a talent agency that exploits neither its talent nor its public. Lauren studied Advertising at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and knew far too many young people with self-esteem issues. So, rather than changing how they saw themselves, she decided to change how they saw their role models. Starting up her own company after years in the Advertising industry, Lauren now owns and operates Astrophel – a high-energy, high-love, high-respect talent agency.
