Documentary telling the story of 'Oidhche Sheanchais / A Night of Storytelling' (1935), the first ever Irish language film, directed by Robert Flaherty as he was completing 'Man of Aran'. Considered lost for many years, a print was found in Harvard University in 2013. It is the only film ever made of a genuine seanchaí when that folk art still survived. It was Flaherty's first work with synchronised sound and is now recognised as one of the earliest 'folkloric' films.
