Television actor Pratyusha Banerjee, known for her role in popular TV series Balika Vadhu, committed suicide on Friday. Pratyusha shot to fame when she was chosen to play the lead role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu when she was just 18 years old.
Pratyusha Banerjee also shook a leg with with choreographer Deepak in the 5th seson of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa
also participated in Bigg Boss 7 and managed to last for 63 days in the Bigg Boss house.
She participated in the show Power Couple with her fiancee Rahul Raaj.
In the show Pyaar tune kya Kiya, Pratyusha essayed the role of Ruhi, who leaves her hometown as she seeks to achieve her everlasting dream of acting in Bollywood.
Pratyusha was also seen as a host with reality-based crime saga Savdhaan India for the special segment on “women against crime” with Hiten Tejwani and Sushant Singh as co-hosts. (Photo: Twitter)
