The doctor-patient relationship becomes a seductive web of lies and intrigue as two women, a psychiatrist and her young patient find themselves drawn into a world of illusions set against the exotic backdrop of San Franciscos Chinatown. The psychiatrist, Kelly, tormented by an abusive childhood, finds solace in the scientific realities of the medical profession. Soon this relationship becomes more than friendship, as Eve entices Kelly into a world of cults and dark magic.
