Michael introduces the second season of IKTV, and discusses the history of the Middle East from the Roman and Ottoman empires, and what happened as a result. Once the Ottoman empire was broken up after World War I, the British, French and other arab forces divided this area up in a conquest for corporate extraction of petroleum resources. Michael talks about how Hitler had been instrumental in cooperating with arab leaders during WWII to settle Jewish people in the newly created Palestinian state. Some callers help me figure out some new show topics. Mr. Bill calls in for the first time, and predicts (accurately?) a dramatic change in power structures in the Middle East, and that a new leader affecting China and Russia will arise from Jordan. Another caller mentions how the Saudi powers are distracting their people, who are larlely destitute, by constantly harping about the Israel-Palestine conflict, and how not all that many people, particularly in the area, agree with war in the area; also how Mexico is facing a similar problem in Oaxaca. I mention a figure of 600,000 dead Iraqi civilians due to the putsch for privatization of oil markets, and that we should get out now. Another caller states that the problem between Muslims and Jews has been happening since the time of Abraham (was that due to the use of a time machine?) and other future Jordanic apocalyptic figures.
