Residents of the Gaza Strip held a rally to protest the decision by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to stop providing financial aid to families left homeless by last year's Israeli attack. The UNRWA had been providing US$10 monthly, which kept many families from starving. The UN agency has also been criticized for failure to rebuild homes destroyed in the Israeli offensive.
