Two top aides to former Colombian president Alvaro Uribe's government will face criminal charges in relation to their ties with paramilitary groups and death squads. Uribe's press secretary and legal adviser are accused of collaborating and meeting with right-wing paramilitaries, including in the presidential residence, fabricating false allegations, and conspiring against members of the Supreme Court.
