Excitement is growing among planetary scientists and amateur astronomers, as we wait to see the first ever close up images of Pluto at the edge of our solar system. Later this month the mystery of Pluto and its five known moons will be historically unveiled by the NASA New Horizons spacecraft. In this program we examine how Pluto and its 5 known moons was discovered, and what we know about the planet to date.
