Ecuador: Correa Cancels Event After Receiving Death Threat

Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa cancelled an event yesterday in a community north of Quito after the mayor of the town received a text message from an unknown assailant threatening to assassinate the two leaders. Security forces determined that the death threat was credible and sent from a location close to the scheduled event. An investigation is currently underway. teleSUR
