Last Fighter Standing – Asia Oceania Championship Tournament announced
New world combat sport arrives and heats up the fighting action

The Asia-Oceania region is in line for a wave of action as the Last Fighter Standing Championships (LFS) are set to enliven the local combat sports scene. Following several recent global announcements, countries from across Asia are gearing up to crown their own Asia-Oceania Last Fighter Standing Champion and establish what country will reign supreme in the world of fighting!

The region that gave birth to the martial arts and paved the way for other regions to architect their own traditional combat sports, Asia-Oceania has the longest and most fascinating history of martial arts that's left its prints in the stones of many scriptures. From Japanese Karate, Judo and Ju-Jitsu, to Muay-Thai, Aikido, Taekwan-Do, Sumo-Wrestling, Kung-Fu and many, many more - LFS welcomes fighters from all of these styles, from single-discipline pugilists to combination fighters. Last Fighter Standing Championships will bring Asian countries together in awakening their supreme martial arts genetics.

Last Fighter Standing is cutting a swathe through fighting circles the world over. It is unique. It is in a league of its own. It recognises the equal skill, training and effort required from men and women to compete at world championship level. As a result, the organisers have established equal opportunities for the prize money for both male and female categories. They have announced $1 000 000-00 (One Million USD) in purses for the World Championships; $500 000-00 for the men's and $500 000-00 women's divisions respectfully.

As around 85% of competitors worldwide are also currently ‘stand-up’ fighters, LFS also provides a more balanced platform with which to test fighter technique, skill and thresh-hold. With only 3 two-minute rounds and only A foot-sweep, hip-throw or knock-down, fighters will have to bring all their wit to take their opponents down. With the 20-second limit on the ground, fighters' skill will have to be second to none to finish the fight. The 10-second Time Wasting Rule will keep the fighters pushing forward and the spectators on the edge of their seats. The rules are designed to suit all fighting styles. They also allow for constant action, high-energy engagement and adrenalin pumping appeal.

Promising to unify combatants from all fighting disciplines worldwide that will bring their fan base to support, Last Fighter Standing is an evolution taking place in the world of fighting. If previous tournaments are anything to go by, the watching public are equally driven, vocally supporting their favourites who are encouraged to combine agility and technique with show-stopping flair. The cameras mounted around the unique hexagon ring means that home viewers don’t miss out on the 360-degree action either.

“LFS has been five years in the making. We have examined the existing tournaments, spoken to fighters from all disciplines, promoters and broadcasters and we are now confident that we have created the next evolution in global all-styles fighting tournaments and explosive entertainment” commented LFS creator and co-founder, Hanshi Craig Mayman, himself a veteran to all-styles battlefield.
