The Annapurna Circuit Trek circumnavigates the entire Annapurna massif from Dumre, through Manang, over the Thorung-La Pass (5,450 meters) and down the Kali Gandaki gorge. From there we pass through Tatopani (Hot –Spring) and finally finishing in Pokhara via Beni.

The trek offers a true cross section of Nepal; lowland rice plantations, deep pine forest, spectacular mountain views, arid desert country in the rain shadow of the Himalaya and a great variety of ethnic groups all along the route. The combination makes Annapurna Circuit Trek a scenic and culturally interesting experience.

Since the route follows the valleys instead of climbing over ridge after ridge, it is not as difficult as the Everest Base Camp Trek, but the crossing of Thorung-La Pass requires two days of strenuous effort at high altitude. This trek is scheduled at times when there is typically good weather, but it is possible that unseasonable snowfall may delay the crossing of the pass, so the itinerary for this trek is especially tentative. The Annapurna Circuit Trek is as good as it gets when it comes to the Trekking in Nepal Experience and as local outfitters in Nepal of the Annapurna Region, we do recommend this trek for Big Groups as the route is not that tough.
