Ayesha Gilani welcomes viewers to a new year and to the Capital Wheel at the National Harbor. She takes viewers on a special ride in the exclusive VIP gondola in the magnificent LED-bedazzled ferris wheel with views spanning the Potomac River, the horizon, and the harbor.
Continuing the festive mood, Ayesha follows in the footsteps of those who welcome the new year through extreme measures and shares some extreme sports of her own throughout the year, trying mixed martial arts, rock climbing, and jumping off of an 855-foot tower in Las Vegas. While looking ahead and pondering what may come during 2015, Ayesha takes viewers on a trip down memory lane and recounts some of the memories that made 2014 so special for both audiences and host. Travel back to the wedding venue where Ayesha attended three weddings of three different nationalities and met the bride, groom, and families; meet, once again, a Kahani Pakistani viewer visiting from Kashmir who recognized the crew and shared his feedback on the show; run along with Ayesha and her new friends she made while volunteering at KEEN, a recreation center for mentally disabled youth; take a New York taxi ride, once again, with Indian immigrant and taxi driver, Skaram Singh, while Ayesha discusses his journey with him.
