New TV shows strange artifacts when displaying white checkerboard patterns with 1 pixel spacing.
First, there is a green tint to the white grid. Second, if a window or something similar is overlaid on top, there are "shadows" of sorts, going horizontally on both sides of the window.
I tried adjusting the green "gain" setting, and found that it turns the "shadows" into purple.
Moving around a window showing the same grid pattern causes various color changes to different areas on the screen, depending on where the window is positioned.
I think all of the above are image processing artifacts, even though all image enhancement settings are Off/0/centered, Scene mode is "Game-Original", colors are "Neutral", and this is the latest firmware. Some other Scene Modes are better in some regards, but they don't solve everything, and they aren't intended for computer use. For example, they're not as low latency.
