SYNOPSIS OF THE FILM

Money cannot buy happiness. That's the lesson that Paul Guida will learn the hard way. Living in the era of corruption and greed on Wall Street, Paul leaves his comfortable life in Newark, NJ to embark on a career as a broker at a small Manhattan based brokerage firm. Knowing what he is doing is not completely legal or moral; he justifies his actions by convincing himself that wealthy investors can afford to lose a few dollars.

Over time, a convergence of events leads Paul to believe that he should end his career as a stockbroker. Just as he is about to quit, his firm is raided by the authorities and Paul is arrested. He is sentenced to three years in prison. Paul never imagined what the tragic consequences of his actions might be. Upon his release from prison, he knows what must be done in order to atone for his sins. With the help of his friends, he sets up a plan that will not only make restitution to those people he has hurt, but also bring him face to face with the darkness inside himself. This is a confrontation that will enable him to ultimately regain his integrity as a human being.

Stay to tuned for updates on BROKER, including a major Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign set to be launched very soon.
