i heard the stories
of military life
our men aren't faithful
neither are most wives
there far away from home at night
while someone else holds them tight
i'm truelly astonished
i can't believe
that god would give
this life to me
how did this happen
what did i do
that i let my heart
fall in love with you
i held onto..............
that peice of me
so long now
i can't even see
that i let you in
oh god why me
this fate this life
do i really need
this man............
that i will rarely see
i'll be alone
most every night
wondering if it's her
your holding tight
