he didn't know
she felt
his eyes
each time
he drank
her in
she knew
he was
undressing her
with his eyes
and she laughed
as she did
the same
but he never
noticed
she danced
away the night
teasing him
as she spun
it was
getting late
the tempo
slowed
as he walked
up beside her
she whispered
come in closer
and his arms
engulfed her
as they danced
with devils
and the night
began
all over again
Years passed
they never
saw one another
again
but
at night
before he goes
to sleep
he can still
hear
her whisper
come in closer
