I chose clips that were one or more of the following: iconic moments of the series such as Tumbling, Filliam H. Muffman, and the Shred-Off; character breaks where Stephen either loses it or nearly does; repeated motifs (such as Charlene, bears, Ontario Junior League hockey, Stephen's porn names, and of course, his ("Stephen's," not Stephen's) repressed homosexual desires ("Teh Gay"); and certain clips that meant something to me personally (such as Mallomars Above The Fold of the NYT). And I could not let Paul, Amy, and Jon be absent from this, for reasons that any true fan will understand. I also tried to choose clips that flowed well from one to the next, and in some cases related to each other (not intentionally in the show, but they do in this video); and had an interesting visual physicality to them, so that they varied from just his sitting behind the desk; and most of all, clips that have not been in lot of other videos. For some dates I found within seconds the "right" clip to use and for others I had to watch the whole episode. It's about 5,000 minutes of tape cut down to 10m58s and I think I've got most every episode memorized at this point. For the second part, after the credits, they are episodes from Jan. 18, 2007, and later (most but not ALL episodes from Jan. 18 to the present), in no order or logic except for being segments that I particularly enjoyed or thought were especially hilarious, and also chosen so that all the tapings I've attended are represented.
