Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen - why the Danes are the world's happiest people

Cold, dark and wet: welcome to Copenhagen in December. On the face of it the city would be the last place you would think of calling the world capital of joy.

But the bleakness and dreariness belies a deep-seated contentment that has earned Denmark the title of happiest country in the world for the past two years.

That is the verdict of a UN commissioned survey of some 156 nations. In this edition of Reporter Valerie Zabriskie tries to find out just what it is that makes the Danes so happy.
