Welcome to the first episode of "In Retrospect" where I look critically at games in the past and find whether or not they hold up to time and my jaded view of what makes a great game. On the chopping block today is a venerable title in the Final Fantasy series that I enjoyed the first time I played it only to realize some time later that my vision had been clouded by nostalgia goggles when I started playing it again.
