Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Can i get in trouble for my boss's bad bookkeeping? part 2? - I work in accounts payable/receivable can i get in trouble for my boss's issues?
I recently started a job, and accounts payable/receivable is new to me, along with Quikbooks. My concern is my boss has some issues paying his bills and also bouncing some checks at the bank. Since I am the one who is helping him sort this nightmare out, can I get in trouble in anyway? What can I do to protect myself?

in response to your answer unfortunately I am not an employee at this moment I work for him though a staffing agency, but he intends on hiring me in. He keeps a close eye on his finances, and sometimes barrow's money from his other accounts to keep this one above water. Plus he said when we he hires me he wants to classify me as a contractor, not an employee? I've never been in a situation like this one before and am thinking about notifying the agency but due to the nature of the situation, I need to be careful. The job market doesn't make it any better. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
