00:32apart from the 12 hours they also have donation now it's donation and not payment the reason is
00:38that you can activate games for free the only difference is that for games that just came out
00:42donators will have a priority when it comes to the queuing so if you are patient maybe you can wait
00:47for the hype to go down it could be a week after the game released and you can get the
00:53game for free
00:53with a lot of tokens available for everyone to use but if you want to get the game on the
00:58first
00:58three days of the release you can donate at least a dollar so you can become a new donator you

01:45for the classic wave we have these games right so we have nba we have mortal combat mafia they even
01:53have ea games here and in the same channel you will see the updates whether tokens run out they even
01:58have reviews here and i recommend you do the same after activating a game go here just think chuki and
02:05then a screenshot of the game is activated the mods will definitely appreciate it as you see here there's

02:16have their own channel for steam deck users so that's good now there are two waves in this discord

03:32but maybe that's just a problem in my time zone but maybe it's not going to be a problem on

03:37so anyway that's the intro and let's proceed okay let's start with the preparation ideally you want
03:44discord installed from discover store and then log into discord after logging in close discord
03:51go to the discover store and then install flat seal this one all right open flat seal
03:58choose discord and make sure that the all user files is enabled it should be on the file system
04:05and then enable this this is so we can upload files to discord now by default you can upload
04:11photos and videos to discord but if you have to upload text files for let's say ubisoft games
04:17you're going to need this enabled if you have axela installed most likely you have ss team installed
04:24so we don't have to install ss team anymore if anything just update it but if you don't have
04:30ss team you can either use the ss team installer or headcrab or enter the wired i will link all

04:36those in the description just visit their repo and there should be commands there on how to install
04:40them in my case i'm going to use enter the wired to install it if you want to just use
04:45ss team
04:46just replace this with ss team just like that and then press enter but if you want to also
04:54install axela along with ss team don't edit it and just leave it as enter the wired and then press

05:10okay after that's done we're going to launch team just once just so the ss team directory will be

05:26so we're going to go to home.config.sls team open this file scroll down to additional apps
05:37dash 194 1540 so i'm gonna type hash and just so i know it's this game so i'm going to

05:47old country there we go so i'm going to save that and i'm going to close it let's restart steam

05:54if the game appears as you see mafia is here and that's good now we have to change something on
05:59the
06:00properties but before we do that go to discover store and then download either proton plus or
06:05proton app beauty so it's these two you can use either i'm going to use proton plus and then download
06:11g proton 1025 download this one after installing that close it and then restart steam all right after
06:18restarting steam go to properties of the game compatibility set this to g proton 1025 you have to
06:27try other versions of proton but once you activate the game for the first time do not change it if

06:33change it and then launch the game again you will break the activation in some cases on different games
06:39there are different commands that you have to add in the case of mafia we actually do need some
06:44specific launch options so we're going to go to their discord linux guides activation procedure
06:49and there's a link here click this and then copy this paste out here equals scroll down find the game

07:17so this is the command for mafia all right so basically we are ready to activate mafia but of
07:25course we need the files if you're on windows just go to downloader channel and then you'll find the
07:30downloader right here and this is the sereno downloader i recommend getting the files from this
07:34even if you have steam tools on your windows pc because sometimes their token is not applicable on the
07:39very latest version of the game so ideally you want to use the files that they are recommending
07:45and by that i mean the games that are in their own downloader by the way if you don't have
07:49a pc don't
07:50worry i'm going to teach you how to use this downloader on the steam deck so let's see we're
07:53going to get mafia right click this like download next choose your location i'm going to put it on my
08:02downloads folder for now and then download
08:08okay so the download is done you can click verify file integrity if you want to check if the files
08:14are not corrupted but in most cases that doesn't happen i'm just going to exit it i'm going to teach
08:19you how to run the sereno downloader on the steam deck now if you are on a different linux distro
08:23and
08:24you're not on a steam deck you can follow these instructions but in my case on the steam deck it
08:28didn't work out for me so i had to do it another way when you download the gui version it's

08:37so how do you use this on the steam deck first make sure that both have proper permissions go to
08:42properties permissions and then make sure the execute is checked this one do the same on the sereno deck

09:44just like on windows you click a game click download click a version that you want click next
09:50use a location and then click download it's not easy all right let's move on

10:03go to home now arrange this by name dot steam steam steam apps
10:14common and then paste the game here we're going to leave this open because we're going to need

13:24add mods make sure that the mods does not replace any file at all but if the mod involves replacing
13:31any files on the game it's going to break your activation as well and lastly after activation
13:36do not move the game folders anywhere on your pc let it stay on the same location where you
