00:00:00I look forward to doing business with you.
00:00:06Oh, I almost forgot to tell the boys.
00:00:11Boys?
00:00:12Listen, tomorrow is your grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary.
00:00:16As you know, it's been ages since I've been home, and I've decided to go.
00:00:22I would really love it if you all came with me.
00:00:25It sounds good and well.
00:00:27I'll go, but I'll talk to you soon.
00:00:29Good morning, President Nolan.
00:00:31You want to pose?
00:00:33Yeah, we'll be there.
00:00:35It's just real. It's working.
00:00:37And you added 40 million years, right?
00:00:39Yes, sir.
00:00:45It's long.
00:00:47Yeah, of course I'll be there. I'll see you soon.
00:00:55It's been so long since I've been home.
00:01:01Athena, wait.
00:01:03I know you've made up your mind about leaving,
00:01:05and I'm not going to try and stop you like your mother did.
00:01:07I want you to take this.
00:01:09Dad!
00:01:11No matter where life takes you, rich or poor,
00:01:15I will always be here, waiting for you to come back home.
00:01:19I'll go in from here.
00:01:27I don't want to draw attention.
00:01:29I'm going to reunite the family after all these years.
00:01:35Ma'am, this is the gift you asked for specifically.
00:01:37The 300 million dollar colored in blue diamond.
00:01:41I love diamonds.
00:01:43Who's her favorite color?
00:01:45She's going to be over the moon.
00:01:47This packaging is too much.
00:01:49Can you put it in a regular bag?
00:01:51You can head back.
00:01:53I'll go in.
00:01:55You can head back.
00:01:57I'll go in.
00:01:59You can head back.
00:02:01I'll go in.
00:02:03You can head back.
00:02:05I'll go in.
00:02:07Look who's here.
00:02:13My youngest daughter.
00:02:15The one who married rich.
00:02:17Mom, happy anniversary.
00:02:19You love diamonds?
00:02:21So Hunter and I have been on the set option just for you.
00:02:25Oh my.
00:02:27A diamond necklace.
00:02:29That must have cost a fortune.
00:02:31And here comes my eldest, Silas.
00:02:39The best lawyer in town.
00:02:41Mother.
00:02:43Happy anniversary.
00:02:47I picked this diamond watch out just for you.
00:02:51Wow, Mr. Wilson.
00:02:53You sure know how to spoil your mother.
00:02:55I am so proud of all of you.
00:02:59Wait.
00:03:01Isn't that your eldest daughter?
00:03:03The one who disappeared several years ago.
00:03:07That disgrace.
00:03:09She dares show her face here.
00:03:13Mom.
00:03:15Happy anniversary.
00:03:17Oh, so you remember you even have a mother.
00:03:19Did you walk here?
00:03:21You don't even have a car.
00:03:23I do.
00:03:24I just parked on.
00:03:25Whatever.
00:03:26You came alone?
00:03:27I know the boys.
00:03:28They're still tied up with work.
00:03:29But I'll be here a bit.
00:03:30Work?
00:03:31Please.
00:03:32Your boys don't even have real jobs.
00:03:35And you're coming late to my party.
00:03:38Are you trying to ruin my big day?
00:03:41I got you a gift.
00:03:44Come on.
00:03:45Come on.
00:03:46Come on.
00:03:47Come on.
00:03:48Come on.
00:03:49Come on.
00:03:50Your sister got me a diamond necklace.
00:03:53Your brother a diamond watch.
00:03:56And you bring me a brown paper bag?
00:04:01Aren't you ashamed?
00:04:03Why would anybody come to a party without a proper gift?
00:04:07Call your boys and tell them not to come.
00:04:12They're not welcome here either.
00:04:20Athena.
00:04:22Oh, look at you.
00:04:27You've even got some gray hairs now.
00:04:30You've had enough time out there.
00:04:32Haven't you?
00:04:33Dad.
00:04:34You're the only reason I never gave up all these years.
00:04:41You know how your mother is.
00:04:43Don't let her get to you.
00:04:45Okay, Dad.
00:04:47I don't know if you're still married to them though.
00:04:53What do you think you're doing?
00:04:55Why don't you go help out in the kitchen or something?
00:04:58Silas and Gloria are just sitting here.
00:05:01Why do I have to be the only one working?
00:05:03Gloria and Silas have master's degrees.
00:05:07They have high paying jobs.
00:05:09What do you have to compare?
00:05:11Sis, when you're poor, you have to work harder.
00:05:14Otherwise, people will always look down on you.
00:05:20You know, sweetheart, you don't have to.
00:05:22You just got here.
00:05:23Sit and relax.
00:05:25I'll take care of it again.
00:05:27Well, that's all you're good for anyway, you useless old fool.
00:05:33No, Dad.
00:05:34I'm sure you've been on your feet all day, so let me take care of it.
00:05:37Just relax and enjoy your day.
00:05:40Thank you, sweetheart.
00:05:44Bye-bye.
00:05:46Dad.
00:05:54Nolan.
00:05:57Hey, Mom.
00:05:58Victor, Felix, and I are all together.
00:05:59We're having them now.
00:06:00It's been years since you've been back.
00:06:02How's everything?
00:06:03Yeah, it's...
00:06:05It's fine.
00:06:06Alright.
00:06:07Wait for us.
00:06:08We'll be there soon.
00:06:11Sir, I loaded the gifts in the car.
00:06:12The gifts in the car are ready to go.
00:06:13Good.
00:06:14This is a diamond brooch.
00:06:15I was brought home last year.
00:06:16I found it.
00:06:17Give it to your mother.
00:06:18It'll make her happy.
00:06:19Dad, there's no name.
00:06:20The gift that I got her is a diamond.
00:06:21It's not just a rock, okay?
00:06:22It's real.
00:06:23I don't need this.
00:06:24I don't need this.
00:06:25Sweetheart, you know your mother.
00:06:26She cares about appearances, about what people think.
00:06:27If you could give her this, maybe she'll back off.
00:06:28At least for today.
00:06:29Okay.
00:06:30Yeah.
00:06:31Trust me.
00:06:32The diamond that I bought.
00:06:33It's a diamond brooch.
00:06:34This is a diamond brooch.
00:06:35I was brought home last year.
00:06:36I found it.
00:06:37Give it to your mother.
00:06:38It'll make her happy.
00:06:39Dad, there's no name.
00:06:40The gift that I got her is a diamond.
00:06:42It's not just a rock, okay?
00:06:43It's real.
00:06:44I don't...
00:06:45I don't need this.
00:06:46Sweetheart, you know your mother.
00:06:48She cares about appearances, about what people think.
00:06:51If you could give her this, maybe she'll back off.
00:06:54At least for today.
00:06:56Okay.
00:06:57Trust me.
00:06:58The diamond that I bought is worth way more than this, okay?
00:07:02Please keep this.
00:07:04Okay, Sweetheart.
00:07:05As you say.
00:07:16Hey.
00:07:17Thanks.
00:07:18Guess what I just saw?
00:07:20Dad was in the kitchen with Athena, having a little heart to heart.
00:07:24Oh yeah?
00:07:25What are they talking about?
00:07:26She didn't have a proper gift.
00:07:28So guess what?
00:07:29Dad dug up that old diamond brooch she gave Mom last year, and tried to pass it off as hers.
00:07:36Are you kidding me?
00:07:38How the hell should she be able to use my brooch as her gift?
00:07:41Oh, I'm gonna admit this.
00:07:42Oh no, relax.
00:07:43She didn't take it.
00:07:45Are you sure?
00:07:46Oh yeah.
00:07:47She actually says she has her own diamond.
00:07:50And get this.
00:07:51She claims it's worth more than your brooch.
00:07:56There's no way.
00:07:57She can't afford a diamond.
00:07:58Exactly.
00:07:59I mean, she probably just picked up some cheap crystal hoping to fool Mom into thinking it's real.
00:08:04I figure.
00:08:05You saw that brown paper stash she showed up with?
00:08:08There was no jewelry box.
00:08:09There was no certificate of authenticity.
00:08:12Nothing.
00:08:13Clearly, there's nothing real in that bag.
00:08:16She's trying to trick Mom with a fake diamond.
00:08:19And I won't stand for that.
00:08:21You got a plan?
00:08:23Of course.
00:08:24My husband owns a jewelry store, remember?
00:08:27He's got a diamond tester that can test the authenticity and value of any stone.
00:08:33Honey, now get that diamond tester out of the car.
00:08:38Let's put on a little show for everyone.
00:08:41Cheers.
00:08:43If Athena gives her mother a proper gift, maybe Hazel won't embarrass her in front of everyone.
00:08:54Maybe for once this family can just have a peaceful night.
00:09:03Dad!
00:09:04What exactly are you doing?
00:09:07There's nothing.
00:09:08Come on, the party's about to start.
00:09:10Let's head to the dining room.
00:09:12Today marks the 50th year that Vince and I have been married.
00:09:22Thank you all for celebrating with us on this special day.
00:09:26Mom, you won't believe this.
00:09:29Dad saw that Athena didn't have a gift, so he tried to give her Silas' brooch.
00:09:36No.
00:09:37She tried to pass it off as her own.
00:09:39I saw it with my own eyes.
00:09:40No.
00:09:42Dad?
00:09:43No.
00:09:44This is unbelievable.
00:09:45Athena got herself into this mess.
00:09:46Why do I always have to cover for her?
00:09:48Vince, is this true?
00:09:50Did that useless girl put you up to this?
00:09:53Of course not.
00:09:54What is going on?
00:09:55What is going on?
00:09:56You lying idiot.
00:09:57Apologize right now.
00:09:58Why am I apologizing?
00:09:59What exactly did I do?
00:10:00This is on me.
00:10:01I just wanted to help Athena.
00:10:03I put the brooch in the bag.
00:10:04I put the brooch in the bag.
00:10:10Without telling her.
00:10:11She had no idea.
00:10:12She did nothing wrong.
00:10:13That you did nothing wrong.
00:10:14Neither of us did.
00:10:15I don't need someone else's gift.
00:10:16Because the diamond that I bought, it's worth more than any of you can even imagine.
00:10:20Shut up.
00:10:21Shut up.
00:10:22Shut up.
00:10:23Are you trying to embarrass me in front of everyone?
00:10:52If you had just lost it, she'd drink it.
00:10:55I might have let it pass.
00:10:57But you lied to me.
00:10:59And you took credit for your brother's brooch.
00:11:02You've been out in the world for 30 years.
00:11:07And what do you have to show for it?
00:11:10A particular war.
00:11:12But at least they have some dignity.
00:11:15I told you.
00:11:17I never wanted Silas' brooch.
00:11:20Oh, give it a rest.
00:11:22Everybody already knows your story.
00:11:24Your husband died when he was young.
00:11:26You don't have a real job.
00:11:28And your three sons are losers.
00:11:30And now you want us to believe that you could afford him time.
00:11:36Exactly.
00:11:37No fancy packaging.
00:11:39No certificate of authenticity.
00:11:41Why should we believe you?
00:11:43Not great.
00:11:44Being poor isn't the crime here.
00:11:46But pretending you're not, that's just sad.
00:11:50Mom.
00:11:51The diamond that I brought, it's real.
00:11:52Enough.
00:11:53I don't want to hear another word out of you.
00:12:02What do I have to do for you to believe me?
00:12:10Hmm.
00:12:12Oh, it's wonderful.
00:12:14Akita, do you know what this is?
00:12:16This little machine is about to expose your lies.
00:12:19It's so simple, an idiot can use it.
00:12:22We simply place the diamond on the scanner.
00:12:24It judges everything from weight, color, cut, and clarity.
00:12:28And then on this screen, it displays the exact marked value.
00:12:32A diamond tester?
00:12:34That was your big plan all along?
00:12:37What's wrong?
00:12:38Getting nervous.
00:12:39I mean, didn't you just say that your blue diamond is real?
00:12:43Well, go on then.
00:12:45Prove it.
00:12:51All right, Xena.
00:12:52If your diamond turns out to be fake, then you'll apologize.
00:12:56Right here in front of everyone.
00:12:58Admit you're a liar, and then you're gonna smash that worthless rock into pieces.
00:13:07Deal.
00:13:08Athena, maybe it's best you can tell.
00:13:12Don't worry.
00:13:13I got this.
00:13:14Oh, but since we're setting rules, I have one too.
00:13:18If my diamond is real, then every single one of you who doubted me
00:13:23will apologize out loud for accusing me of nothing.
00:13:29If your diamond is real, I'll toss my wants.
00:13:33I'll throw them in my necklace.
00:13:36But let's just be honest, Athena.
00:13:38We all know your diamond is fake.
00:13:40But, you know, I'll just play along just for fun.
00:13:43Oh.
00:13:44Let's start with mom's diamond ring.
00:13:55You know, just to make sure that the machine is legit.
00:13:58Now, everyone, this was purchased on Fifth Avenue for $70,000.
00:14:04Wow, wow, wow, wow.
00:14:05I think it's spot on.
00:14:06It even shows the diamond purity, hardness, and cut.
00:14:11I mean, okay, well, now to my necklace.
00:14:12Whoa.
00:14:13Whoa.
00:14:14Whoa.
00:14:15Whoa.
00:14:16Whoa.
00:14:17Whoa.
00:14:18Whoa.
00:14:19I think it's spot on.
00:14:20It even shows the diamond purity, hardness, and cut.
00:14:24And cut.
00:14:25I mean, okay, well, now to my necklace.
00:14:34...
00:14:35This is amused.
00:14:36And cut.
00:14:37I'm trying to have to take a look.
00:14:38I'm trying to keep it.
00:14:39You've got to take a look.
00:14:40I'm trying to keep it actually.
00:14:41And cut.
00:14:42Maybe you've got to take a look at the name.
00:14:43This is not supposed to be.
00:14:44Oh.
00:14:45It'sly a little срав of the line.
00:14:46I don't want to take a look.
00:14:47Wow.
00:14:48Oh.
00:14:49Gloria, is this necklace really worth $800,000?
00:14:50Of course!
00:14:51Unlike some people, I don't ru un-m-m-m-mouth.
00:14:54People, I don't run my mouth.
00:14:56Wow, I can't believe it's that expensive.
00:14:59And the clarity is top-notch, too.
00:15:00Oh, Gloria's family must be loaded.
00:15:03To casually give an $800,000 necklace.
00:15:07Diesel, you're so lucky.
00:15:09Oh, that's right.
00:15:10Oh, Gloria's always been my most thoughtful daughter.
00:15:14And her husband.
00:15:15Oh, what a wonderful son of a while.
00:15:18Well, Mom, it's your anniversary.
00:15:21No price is too high to pay.
00:15:22It's just my watch next.
00:15:41My God, come back to watch, it's worth $2 million?
00:15:44It's more than a house.
00:15:46Well, clearly that high.
00:15:48The price makes sense.
00:15:49It's an investment piece.
00:15:51Absolutely, Hazel.
00:15:52Oh, you did well with the kids.
00:15:55Look at the wonderful gifts they're bringing.
00:15:57Yes, my kids are wonderful.
00:15:59Both of them.
00:16:04All right, Hina.
00:16:05Silas and I tested ours.
00:16:07Now it's your turn.
00:16:08Why don't you just admit that you were lying?
00:16:11Save yourself the embarrassment,
00:16:12because as soon as we test that rock,
00:16:15everyone's going to know it's fake.
00:16:16Fake.
00:16:17Why are you so sure my blue diamond is fake?
00:16:32Let's do this.
00:16:33That looks just like one of those knockoffs they sell on the street.
00:16:49It's too perfect, too big, too flawless.
00:16:51It screams cheap imitation.
00:16:54I've been in the jewelry business for years,
00:16:57and I've never seen a flawless blue diamond of that size.
00:17:00Even if it existed, it would be half a billion dollars.
00:17:04No way something you could afford.
00:17:06It's at all.
00:17:07If you knew anything about jewelry,
00:17:08you would know that that cheap blue hue isn't the real deal.
00:17:12You idiot, put that down your way already.
00:17:17Why should I?
00:17:18We haven't even tested it yet.
00:17:20Test what?
00:17:21Why do you keep embarrassing yourself?
00:17:24How did I ever give birth to such a worthless child?
00:17:28Silas and Gloria are wonderful.
00:17:32But you will only keep humiliating me.
00:17:36I should never have invited you to this party.
00:17:39No matter what I do,
00:17:41you will always think that I am the problem, won't you?
00:17:45Hazel, don't say that.
00:17:47Athena is just trying to make you happy.
00:17:50She's like that because you keep coddling her.
00:17:56Mom, how could you push Dad like that?
00:17:58You have made him weak, just like you.
00:18:02Athena, stop making this worse than it is.
00:18:05Just admit you're a liar, and we can move on.
00:18:08Take the tester away.
00:18:10There's no need to test my sister's worthless piece of shit.
00:18:1450 bucks, max.
00:18:17This diamond is worth 300 million dollars,
00:18:20and we are testing it now.
00:18:23Test it, sweetheart.
00:18:25I mean, if my sister wants to make a fool of herself,
00:18:28who will you stop her?
00:18:29I mean, what's happening?
00:18:48Honey?
00:18:50Honey, what's happening?
00:18:52Honey, what's wrong?
00:19:10I don't know.
00:19:10It shouldn't be malfunctioning, but unless the value of the stone exceeds eight figures?
00:19:18What?
00:19:19That's impossible!
00:19:20This tester can only measure diamonds valued up to eight figures.
00:19:24Anything beyond that, it causes system errors.
00:19:27So, that diamond is worth more than eight figures?
00:19:31If it is that valuable, then the diamond must be real.
00:19:35Just before the blackout, the clarity level jumped to FL.
00:19:38That is the highest possible purity level.
00:19:41It's flawless.
00:19:44Incredible!
00:19:46I've never seen a blue diamond that massive.
00:19:48Let me see that.
00:19:50Oh, no wonder this is so beautiful.
00:19:56The purity is unmatched.
00:19:59Athena, you really did get me the perfect gift.
00:20:04Dad, I wasn't lying.
00:20:06My diamond truly is the best.
00:20:08I believe you, Athena.
00:20:10The hell did you get enough money to afford that?
00:20:13Did you steal it from someone?
00:20:14Seriously?
00:20:15Do you think I would be able to steal this kind of diamond from someone?
00:20:19I still don't believe that she can afford a diamond like this.
00:20:23Something's off.
00:20:24Honey, is there any other reason?
00:20:27Why?
00:20:28The detector could have glitched?
00:20:31I got it.
00:20:32If the object tested wasn't a diamond, it would cause an error.
00:20:37Everyone heard that, right?
00:20:43This so-called diamond isn't even a real diamond.
00:20:47Yeah, I told you so.
00:20:48There's no way that somebody like Athena can afford a real diamond.
00:20:52Mom, that thing is probably just a nicely polished piece of glass.
00:20:56Glass, glass, glass, take this garbage and get out of my party right now.
00:21:05I planned this day to be perfect and you ruined it.
00:21:10If you came just to piss me off, just get out now.
00:21:17Why can't you just believe me for once?
00:21:21Because all you'll ever do is argue with me and lie.
00:21:24How did I end up with such a useless daughter ever since you left the family?
00:21:30You've been nothing but a disappointment.
00:21:33How can you say that?
00:21:34I dropped out of school and worked non-stop for this family.
00:21:38Do you really think we would have this life if it wasn't for me?
00:21:42Shut up!
00:21:43Am I wrong?
00:21:44You forced me to drop out of school and get a job.
00:21:48The money that I made paid for Silas and Gloria's tuition without me to even think that they would be where they are now.
00:21:57Why are you bringing this up now?
00:21:59Are you blaming me because I didn't let you finish school?
00:22:03I'm your mother.
00:22:04If I tell you to do something, you do it without complaint.
00:22:10Why are you bringing up things from the past, Athena?
00:22:13Clearly, you made my mother very uncomfortable.
00:22:16No matter what, a daughter should never give her mother a fake diamond.
00:22:21My sentiments exactly.
00:22:22No matter how tough Hazel has been with you, she's your mother.
00:22:26How do you even have a nerve to cry here?
00:22:30You are not going to ruin my party.
00:22:34Get her out of this house.
00:22:36What?
00:22:37Wait!
00:22:39May I take a look at that diamond?
00:22:44Robert, what are you doing?
00:22:46The diamond looks familiar.
00:22:49I'd like to take a closer look.
00:22:51Right.
00:22:52Robert is a top-tier gemologist.
00:22:54You work on multiple National Treasure Authentication projects.
00:22:58If anyone can tell if this diamond is real, it's him.
00:23:12Well?
00:23:13Is it real or not?
00:23:15This diamond.
00:23:17This is real.
00:23:19What?
00:23:21Really?
00:23:22Only a genuine diamond produces this fluorescence reaction under UV light.
00:23:28And I can guarantee you this is the Cullinan Blue Diamond.
00:23:34The king of diamonds.
00:23:37It was once sold at auction for $300 million.
00:23:41$300 million?
00:23:44Are you serious, Robert?
00:23:46Oh, absolutely.
00:23:47There are news reports about this diamond that you can look at up yourselves if you don't believe me.
00:23:53Oh, my God.
00:23:54It's true.
00:23:56The Cullinan Blue Diamond was auctioned for $300 million.
00:23:59Athena!
00:24:00Look at you!
00:24:02Look at you!
00:24:04You absolutely love your mother!
00:24:07Look at the gifts you bring!
00:24:09A real diamond?
00:24:13Give it to me!
00:24:16Athena?
00:24:17Is it really worth $300 million?
00:24:20Wait, there's something wrong with this diamond.
00:24:35Look at this!
00:24:36The blue Cullinan Diamond was originally auctioned in an embellished box.
00:24:41But hers just came in a cheap paper bag.
00:24:44I didn't want to use the original packaging.
00:24:47It was too flashy!
00:24:49Or maybe there never was a box.
00:24:51Maybe she just got a cheap knockoff and didn't have time to fake the packaging.
00:24:56That's why the diamond tester malfunctioned.
00:24:59It wasn't because of the value.
00:25:00It was because this thing is a fake.
00:25:02Damn it, Athena.
00:25:04I almost believed you again.
00:25:07A bottom feeder like Athena could never afford a $300 million diamond.
00:25:12There's no way it's real.
00:25:13Oh, come on.
00:25:15A fake.
00:25:15And not just any fake.
00:25:16The world's biggest diamond, Red Choke.
00:25:19I'm not lying.
00:25:20My diamond is real.
00:25:22Then why did my tester crash?
00:25:24You're just embarrassing yourself, Athena.
00:25:27Just admit you're a liar.
00:25:29All right, everyone.
00:25:30It's all gone down for a second.
00:25:32Shall we?
00:25:34I have a way to prove whether Athena's diamond is real.
00:25:40As you all may know, a regular diamond can scratch glass, but a common blue diamond is hard enough to shatter it.
00:25:52Bring in the bulletproof glass.
00:25:54This is professional-grade material.
00:25:58This is professional-grade material.
00:26:00All we need to do is test it against the bulletproof glass.
00:26:06Yeah, if the glass shatters, it's the Cullinan blue.
00:26:09Save it, Hunter.
00:26:11Athena barely even went to school.
00:26:13I'm glad you understand all that.
00:26:15No, there's still some time to admit that it's fake, Athena, or else you're just going to bear yourself in front of everyone.
00:26:21I have nothing to fear because my diamond is real.
00:26:24Mr. Lewis, please proceed.
00:26:26If the glass breaks, this is the Cullinan blue diamond.
00:26:31Everyone here will be a witness.
00:26:51Nothing happened?
00:26:53The glass didn't break at all.
00:26:54It didn't break, which means this isn't the Cullinan blue diamond.
00:27:04See that, everyone?
00:27:06Her cheap fake diamond couldn't even crack the glass.
00:27:10What do you have to say for yourself now, Athena?
00:27:12This doesn't make any sense.
00:27:14Of course it does.
00:27:15You're a fraud, Athena.
00:27:17Mom, this is insane.
00:27:19Athena didn't just lie to you.
00:27:22She tried to pass off some cheap fake as a gift.
00:27:25We can't just let this go.
00:27:27Exactly.
00:27:28She's basically saying we won't deserve a real diamond.
00:27:31Oh, that must be so mistaken.
00:27:33Enough!
00:27:34You worthless failure.
00:27:36You cross the scene here and then you try to drag it out even further?
00:27:41Everyone saw that it didn't break, Athena.
00:27:44You are a worthless, shameless liar.
00:27:47You wasted everyone's time here today.
00:27:49The least you can do is apologize.
00:27:52Yeah, apologize.
00:27:54Yeah, I'm gonna see your story.
00:28:07Something's going on with the glass.
00:28:09What?
00:28:13You really think a fake diamond could actually shatter?
00:28:20Oh, my God!
00:28:23Oh, my God!
00:28:24Oh, babe!
00:28:26Stay still, stay still, babe!
00:28:28Here, let me get you a bandage.
00:28:29I guess I didn't press hard enough earlier, huh?
00:28:35That's why the glass didn't break.
00:28:38I told you.
00:28:39My diamond isn't fake.
00:28:41Yes, it's real.
00:28:46Well, this is the colony we've had on the auction.
00:28:52Oh, the dream of the gold.
00:28:55Such a masterpiece in my own hands.
00:28:59This is truly an art.
00:29:02Yes, this is perfect.
00:29:09The diamond is now mine.
00:29:12Oh, 300 million!
00:29:16That's 300 million dollars!
00:29:20I've never seen a diamond like this in my life.
00:29:23So expensive, so exquisite, so unraged.
00:29:28Wow, Athena.
00:29:30That was very generous of you.
00:29:33Athena, I totally misjudged you, sweetheart.
00:29:38I am so proud of you for giving me this precious gift.
00:29:44Oh, I don't think so, Mother.
00:29:57You never even recognized me.
00:30:01Wait, wait.
00:30:04Don't take it.
00:30:06I see him now.
00:30:07I mean it.
00:30:10You've done better than any of them.
00:30:12Silas and Gloria could never compare.
00:30:17Mom, what's that supposed to mean?
00:30:20We will wash your diamonds too.
00:30:22How come Athena gets to be better than us?
00:30:24Shut up.
00:30:26Both of your diamonds aren't even worth a fraction of Athena's.
00:30:31Wait, Mr. Moose.
00:30:32Are you sure this is the Helen and Blue diamond from the auction?
00:30:37What, you think I'd lie about that?
00:30:39Come on, Hunter.
00:30:41Robert is a nationally recognized gem expert.
00:30:45He's even authenticated royal family jewels.
00:30:48He's not going to get this wrong.
00:30:49That's not what I was asking.
00:30:51I'm sorry, Mr. Lewis.
00:30:52I just have one question.
00:30:55Little Hurt, is there something that could shatter glass and not be a diamond?
00:31:00I mean, as far as I know, there are plenty of materials that could shatter glass.
00:31:12You're right.
00:31:14There are other materials that can break glass.
00:31:17Exactly!
00:31:18As long as the fake is hard enough, it could break glass.
00:31:22This proves nothing.
00:31:24Ha!
00:31:26I think about it.
00:31:28About 300 million dollars?
00:31:30How could someone like Athena afford that?
00:31:36Damn it, Athena.
00:31:37Did you lie to me again?
00:31:41You know, there's another way to know for sure if this diamond is for real.
00:31:45What is it?
00:31:47Well, if Athena bought the diamond at the auction, she should have the official purchase certificate.
00:31:53Which is something that cannot be faked.
00:31:58Exactly!
00:32:00So, Athena, you have it, right?
00:32:03Let's see it!
00:32:05I left the certificate in the car, along with the original box.
00:32:08I don't have it on me, but if you really need proof, I can have my son Nolan bring it over.
00:32:13He's on his way.
00:32:21Are you kidding me?
00:32:22You really think that your worthless son is just going to waltz in here and provide a purchase certificate?
00:32:30Pretending your son can magically produce an auction certificate isn't exactly the same thing, Athena.
00:32:38You're trying to stop me because you're afraid the diamond is real, aren't you?
00:32:44Scared of you?
00:32:48Athena, let it go.
00:32:50Don't fight with your sister.
00:32:53Dad, you don't believe me either?
00:32:55No, no, I just meant...
00:32:56Fine, I'll prove it.
00:32:59Just wait and see.
00:33:00Hey, Mom.
00:33:06Nolan, how far are you guys?
00:33:07What's wrong?
00:33:09Are you here yet?
00:33:11Almost.
00:33:12I'll be listening.
00:33:13Listen, I left the auction certificate for the Cullen and Blue Diamond in the car.
00:33:17Can you go grab it for me?
00:33:18Yeah, of course.
00:33:20There's some others than I left the auction, so I'll still maintain now.
00:33:28Athena, listen.
00:33:30It's not that I don't believe you.
00:33:33I just don't want you to get hurt again.
00:33:37It's okay, Dad.
00:33:39I'm not scared.
00:33:39So, is your useless son finally sending in the proof?
00:33:46Let's be real.
00:33:47Whatever he sends will be just as fake as the diamond itself.
00:33:51Ha.
00:33:52Wow.
00:33:55Here it is.
00:33:56The auction certificate.
00:33:59Take a good look.
00:34:01Tell me.
00:34:01Is it a real diamond or not?
00:34:04This is legit paperwork.
00:34:13This diamond is really worth $300 million.
00:34:17Hazel, your daughter is incredible.
00:34:20This is beyond impressive.
00:34:22Well, I must have raised her right.
00:34:26She's so sweet.
00:34:30Not that Silas and Gloria aren't, of course.
00:34:34You both saw it clearly, didn't you?
00:34:39Tell me.
00:34:40Is the diamond real or not?
00:34:44No.
00:34:45You said you'd apologize if it was real.
00:34:47Well, it is.
00:34:50So let's hear it.
00:34:51Silas, you promised to throw out your diamond watch, remember?
00:34:55I didn't mean that literally.
00:34:58And you, Gloria, can that pass?
00:35:02Now that has to go too.
00:35:03You said it yourselves.
00:35:05What now?
00:35:07Trying to back out?
00:35:11The necklace and watch are my gifts.
00:35:15So nobody is throwing anything away.
00:35:18But you did cause a scene, so I think it would only be proper for you to apologize to a thing.
00:35:24Well, if you had given me a $300 million diamond, I would be on your side.
00:35:35Now, apologize to Athena, and let's get on with celebrating my big day.
00:35:46Absolutely not.
00:35:47Hurry up.
00:35:49Does my word mean nothing to you two anymore?
00:35:51I'm sorry.
00:35:58Oh gosh, I'm so sorry.
00:36:00I didn't hear that.
00:36:01Could you say it a little louder, please?
00:36:02Now you've pushed it too far.
00:36:05Babe, look at her.
00:36:07Are you going to say anything old?
00:36:10Sweetie, you got caught by the glass too.
00:36:14Oh, look what you're doing.
00:36:16Wait.
00:36:17Let me see that certificate again.
00:36:19What now?
00:36:20The proof is right here.
00:36:22Are you still trying to deny it?
00:36:28Look at the signature on this certificate.
00:36:30Sterling Group.
00:36:40Wait.
00:36:41The Sterling Group?
00:36:43I heard of them.
00:36:45They're one of the biggest financial firms in the country.
00:36:49Then why does the auction stamp say Sterling Group?
00:36:53Athena, how do you explain this?
00:36:56I explain what?
00:36:57That Sterling Group is my company?
00:37:00You, you run the Sterling Group.
00:37:09You're joking, right?
00:37:10Oh, wait.
00:37:12If Athena is the CEO of the Sterling Group,
00:37:15I'm Bill Gates' brother.
00:37:22Athena, enough of this nonsense.
00:37:26Have you lost your mind?
00:37:27Do you even know what kind of company the Sterling Group is?
00:37:32How dare you lie to us?
00:37:34No one knows the Sterling Group better than I do.
00:37:37I'm the one who built it from the ground up 20 years ago.
00:37:41I'm Athena Sterling.
00:37:42That is wonderful.
00:37:51That's wonderful!
00:37:53That is some of the best acting that I have seen all year.
00:37:55You know, if you really want to make it go a bit,
00:37:58you should try your luck in Hollywood.
00:37:59Maybe Broadway.
00:38:00Whatever you say, Zellis.
00:38:04One more thing.
00:38:06Look at the buyer's signature.
00:38:08That's Carl Jones, not you.
00:38:14No.
00:38:15Carl Jones is my assistant.
00:38:16I was too busy to go to the auction,
00:38:18so I had him bid for me.
00:38:20You sent your assistant
00:38:21to get a $300 million diamond.
00:38:25That happens.
00:38:26You think just because Mom's getting older
00:38:29that she's easy to fool?
00:38:31Athena, stop this nonsense now!
00:38:39Mom, I'm not making this up.
00:38:42I've said enough!
00:38:44I swear, sometimes I wish I had never had you.
00:38:50You've been such a disappointment to this family.
00:38:54Unlike your brother and sister.
00:39:02Really?
00:39:03You wish you'd never had me?
00:39:08Mom's right.
00:39:09Maybe you should read the news
00:39:11before making stuff up.
00:39:13CEO of Sterling Group?
00:39:15Please.
00:39:16They're not even close.
00:39:19She is really losing it these days.
00:39:23You...
00:39:23Athena.
00:39:25That's enough!
00:39:30Just let it go.
00:39:32Dad, I thought you said you believed me.
00:39:34I do believe you, my sweetheart.
00:39:37Come on, Athena.
00:39:38These lies are getting out of hand.
00:39:40The CEO of the Sterling Group?
00:39:42That's literally the richest person in the world.
00:39:45Athena, you've officially embarrassed
00:39:47the entire Wilson family
00:39:49by pretending to be
00:39:51the richest person alive.
00:39:53All right.
00:39:55Enough of this squibbling.
00:39:57I'm so sorry you all had to witness this.
00:40:00Enjoy some refreshments
00:40:01and let's keep this party going.
00:40:08Athena, you just got back.
00:40:10Don't waste your energy fighting with them.
00:40:13I know, but they started it, Dad.
00:40:15I know, but can't you just let it go for me?
00:40:20Let's just enjoy our family dinner.
00:40:23Please?
00:40:24Fine.
00:40:24I'll only test it to you.
00:40:28Let's go eat?
00:40:30I'm going to go put this somewhere safe.
00:40:32Oh, okay.
00:40:36What's the matter?
00:40:37That's rough.
00:40:55That's why you don't show up uninvited.
00:40:58I'd be so embarrassed.
00:41:08She doesn't belong at this table.
00:41:12You don't think I belong here?
00:41:14Of course not.
00:41:15Failures like you
00:41:17don't deserve to be anywhere near
00:41:20elite people like us.
00:41:22No, it must have been a mistake.
00:41:25Maybe the staff just forgot.
00:41:26They didn't forget.
00:41:28Athena wasn't even supposed to be here.
00:41:31Athena, why don't you just go
00:41:33grab some leftovers in the kitchen?
00:41:36You tried to pass off a fake diamond
00:41:38and you lied about being a CEO.
00:41:41That's just embarrassing.
00:41:43Maybe you should just stay in the kitchen.
00:41:45You'd be more help there.
00:41:47They're right, you know.
00:41:49Someone as inadequate as you
00:41:51does not belong here.
00:41:53Go to the kitchen
00:41:54where you fit in better.
00:41:57Oh, and let's not forget
00:41:59she's not the only failure.
00:42:02Her three sons are just as pathetic.
00:42:06My sons are more successful
00:42:08than either of your children.
00:42:14Are you seriously comparing them
00:42:19with our children?
00:42:21Absolutely.
00:42:22Gloria's son, Edwin,
00:42:24is already an executive
00:42:25and a huge corporation.
00:42:29And Silas's kids?
00:42:31Your daughter just graduated
00:42:33from an Ivy League school
00:42:34and she's already prepping
00:42:36for grad school.
00:42:37Ah, his son is about to go
00:42:39pro in hockey.
00:42:40Your kids really are amazing.
00:42:43Yeah, that's true.
00:42:44Every single one of them
00:42:46is a standout.
00:42:47Asin, your kids
00:42:49don't even compare to mine.
00:42:51Stop embarrassing yourself, Athena.
00:42:55I've been way too kind
00:42:58letting you stay.
00:43:00Just leave.
00:43:02Why?
00:43:03They started it.
00:43:04Why am I the one
00:43:05getting picked up?
00:43:06Did you really think
00:43:07that you could sit
00:43:08at our table
00:43:10showing up with a fake diamond?
00:43:14Madam,

00:44:10Russian sturgeon
00:44:11is one of the most
00:44:12expensive fish out there.
00:44:14Basically,
00:44:14it's worth a house.
00:44:16Oh.
00:44:17And look at these
00:44:18white truffles.
00:44:19Wait.
00:44:20Is this from
00:44:21the V Research Institute?
00:44:24That rare new truffle
00:44:26they're developing.
00:44:28I heard.
00:44:29It's like
00:44:29$35,000
00:44:31per kilogram.
00:44:33Of course.
00:44:33And this wine.
00:44:35Oromany pun tea.
00:44:37This is one of the
00:44:37most prestigious wines
00:44:39in the world.
00:44:40One bottle
00:44:41costs nearly
00:44:41$100,000.
00:44:42They're all mine.
00:44:50Mom, are these gifts
00:44:52expensive enough for you?

00:44:55Oh, yes.
00:44:56I am.
00:44:57I love them.
00:45:00Silas,
00:45:01Gloria,
00:45:02more complaints?
00:45:03Grandpa.

00:45:05Grandpa.
00:45:06Happy anniversary.
00:45:08Happy anniversary.
00:45:10Happy anniversary.
00:45:13Hey.
00:45:14Hey, why are you here?
00:45:16There they are.
00:45:21They're all mine.
00:45:24Is this the exclusive
00:45:25Sturgeon Pantheon?
00:45:27This is
00:45:28reserved only for the CEO.
00:45:30What CEO?
00:45:31The CEO
00:45:32of
00:45:33the Nolan Group
00:45:34where I work now.
00:45:36You got into
00:45:37Nolan Group?
00:45:38That's one of the
00:45:39top 500 companies
00:45:41in the world.
00:45:43Nolan Group.
00:45:45Isn't that
00:45:45Nolan's company?
00:45:47Yeah.
00:45:48They had to be
00:45:49and offered
00:45:49an executive role.
00:45:51So I took it.
00:45:53Wait.
00:45:54So you're saying
00:45:54that this caviar
00:45:55is from the CEO?
00:45:56Yeah.
00:45:57This specific
00:45:57Sturgeon
00:45:58is actually
00:45:59from the CEO's
00:46:00private farm.
00:46:00Only a handful
00:46:01of selected clients
00:46:02ever get this
00:46:03Sturgeon.
00:46:04So maybe this is
00:46:05a little bit of
00:46:06a special something
00:46:07for me.
00:46:10Athena.
00:46:11You hear that?
00:46:12This caviar
00:46:13didn't come
00:46:14from your sons.
00:46:15It's a gift
00:46:16for my son
00:46:17from the Nolan Group.
00:46:18Pretty shameless
00:46:19of you to try
00:46:20to take credit.
00:46:23What do you mean
00:46:24to take credit?
00:46:26That is not.
00:46:27Your aunt Athena
00:46:28I'll say something else.
00:46:29She claimed
00:46:31that that caviar
00:46:32was sent by her sons
00:46:33to him like that.
00:46:34What?
00:46:35You tried to take credit
00:46:36for something
00:46:37from our CEO?
00:46:39Do you have
00:46:39any idea
00:46:40what could possibly
00:46:41happen if this
00:46:42gets back to my company?
00:46:43I could lose my job.
00:46:44If you mess this up
00:46:46I'll make sure
00:46:47you regret it.
00:46:50Wait.
00:46:51These white truffles.
00:46:53What about the white truffles?
00:46:58They're from the
00:46:59V Research Institute
00:47:00right?
00:47:01Yeah there's the
00:47:01V Research Institute

00:47:04I knew it.
00:47:07Dad
00:47:07I almost forgot
00:47:08to tell you
00:47:09I got in.
00:47:11This must be
00:47:12a gift from them
00:47:13they must be
00:47:14from me.
00:47:15That's one of the
00:47:16top academic
00:47:17research institutes
00:47:19in the country.
00:47:22Victor runs
00:47:23V Research Institute.
00:47:25These white truffles
00:47:27they're a special kind
00:47:28developed by the institute.
00:47:30The taste is
00:47:31completely different
00:47:32than the regular ones.
00:47:34Only a director
00:47:35has access to them.
00:47:37And since they only
00:47:38take one student
00:47:39every five years
00:47:40the fact that
00:47:41they're sending them
00:47:42to me
00:47:43must mean
00:47:44I'm pretty important
00:47:45to them.
00:47:46That's my girl!
00:47:47That's fantastic.
00:47:48It sounds like
00:47:49the V Research Institute
00:47:50has great hopes
00:47:51for you Glenn.
00:47:55Seriously Athena.
00:47:56First the caviar
00:47:57and now
00:47:58you want to take
00:47:59credit for
00:48:00another gift
00:48:01from your sons?
00:48:03It sounds like
00:48:03you're the one
00:48:04trying to take
00:48:05credit for something
00:48:05that isn't yours.
00:48:07What is that
00:48:07supposed to mean?
00:48:09You think I'm
00:48:09trying to steal
00:48:10a gift from your son?
00:48:11Do you even know
00:48:13anyone in the
00:48:13V Research Institute?
00:48:15The white truffles
00:48:16are a gift
00:48:17from my son
00:48:17Victor Sterling.
00:48:20He's the director
00:48:20of V Research Institute.
00:48:25He's the director
00:48:26of V Research Institute.
00:48:32Are you crazy?
00:48:36If the director
00:48:37heard about this
00:48:38I could lose my spot.
00:48:40She's always been crazy.
00:48:41Every word
00:48:42out of her mouth
00:48:43is a lie.
00:48:44Everything I say
00:48:45is true.
00:48:45I'm not lying
00:48:46but you guys
00:48:47choose not to believe me.
00:48:48Enough!
00:48:50You lying,
00:48:51shameless idiot!
00:48:53If you try
00:48:55to destroy
00:48:56my grandkids' future
00:48:57I swear
00:48:59I'll throw you
00:49:00out of the house
00:49:00for good!
00:49:01Don't get work out,
00:49:02Hazel.
00:49:03At least Athena's
00:49:04sons brought
00:49:05a fine bottle of wine.
00:49:06Hmph!
00:49:07Wine?
00:49:08Knowing her?
00:49:09I wouldn't be surprised
00:49:10if that was a lie too.
00:49:11And Gloria's right.
00:49:13That wine was probably
00:49:13set by my hockey team's manager.
00:49:15It's a gift
00:49:16to celebrate
00:49:16my acceptance
00:49:17into the Eagles.
00:49:19You made the team?
00:49:20That's awesome!
00:49:21Come on!
00:49:22It's still a substitute
00:49:23for now
00:49:24so I haven't met
00:49:25the team yet
00:49:25but it's just a matter of time
00:49:26before I start playing.
00:49:27It's fantastic!
00:49:28Ha ha!
00:49:29The Eagles!
00:49:30That's truly impressive!
00:49:32The Eagles
00:49:32is one of the top teams
00:49:34that in the country.
00:49:35Helen, you're killing it!
00:49:36Making it onto
00:49:36the best hockey team

00:49:45Not one single
00:49:46one of these presents
00:49:47came from your son.
00:49:48How long are you
00:49:48going to keep up
00:49:49this ridiculous act?
00:49:53I'm not lying.
00:49:55My oldest son
00:49:56is the CEO
00:49:57of the Nolan Group.

00:50:14Ha ha ha!
00:50:18Are you kidding me?
00:50:20Come on, Athena.
00:50:21You can't go around
00:50:22saying stuff like that.
00:50:23People will think
00:50:24you've lost it
00:50:24and you'll ruin
00:50:27our reputation
00:50:28in the industry.
00:50:29Exactly.
00:50:30Dad, my boss,
00:50:31hears that my aunt
00:50:32is claiming
00:50:33to be his mother.
00:50:36I'm done.
00:50:37I'm going to get
00:50:37kicked out for sure.
00:50:38Same here.

00:50:41I'm going to be
00:50:41warming the bench
00:50:42forever.
00:50:43This could mess
00:50:44everything up.
00:50:46Mom?
00:50:47You hear what
00:50:47this crazy lady's
00:50:48talking about?

00:51:00Are you trying
00:51:06to ruin this family?
00:51:09Are you trying
00:51:10to ruin this family?
00:51:12Why did you even
00:51:13come back here

00:51:36I will make you
00:51:38pay for it.
00:51:40I'm your daughter.
00:51:42How can you say that?
00:51:44I wish I'd never
00:51:45had a daughter
00:51:46like you.
00:51:48Your existence
00:51:49has been a stain
00:51:51on this family.
00:51:53In order to protect
00:51:55Colin, Clara,
00:51:56and Edwin's future,

00:52:15That's perfect.
00:52:17That's exactly
00:52:18what needed to happen.
00:52:20Do you really
00:52:21hate me that much?
00:52:22How can someone
00:52:23love a worthless
00:52:24being like you?
00:52:26Ever since you
00:52:27came back here,
00:52:28you've been
00:52:29nothing but a problem.
00:52:31Hazel,

00:54:34She's your grandmother.
00:54:36Nicely dressed.
00:54:38I'll give you that.
00:54:39But that doesn't change the fact that your mother is a liar and a thief.
00:54:44And that says enough about you.
00:54:46Hey, watch your mouth.
00:54:47Don't speak about my mom like that.
00:54:50Say something about her like that again.
00:54:52And I promise, you'll regret it.
00:54:54This is ridiculous.
00:54:56Edwin, get them out of here.
00:54:58Get some of your men over here right now.
00:55:04Go ahead.
00:55:05Call them whatever you want.
00:55:07It's not going to change a thing.
00:55:08If anyone has a hand on my mother, they will regret it.
00:55:12Do you even hear yourselves?
00:55:14Who the hell do you think you are?
00:55:16Bussin' nobodies.
00:55:18You and your mom should all get kicked out.
00:55:22Mom, who even are these people?
00:55:24That is your uncle Silas and Aunt Gloria.
00:55:28So these are the ungrateful liars and traitors that I've been hearing so much about.
00:55:33Excuse me?
00:55:35Ungrateful.
00:55:36I don't know if he knows your mother.
00:55:38What do you expect?

00:55:44Why not?
00:55:45He's not wrong.
00:55:47You guys lie about everything.
00:55:48Your mom said this was from you?
00:55:51Yeah, it is.
00:55:52What's her brother about?
00:55:53You're lying.
00:55:57You're lying.
00:55:58This was from me.
00:56:00It's from the Eagles team manager.
00:56:01That bottle?
00:56:03The team president gave that to me last year after I led the Eagles to a champion.
00:56:07As the team captain.
00:56:09Bullshit.
00:56:10I saw this model in the team manager's office.
00:56:13It was a gift for me for making the team.
00:56:14You're such an idiot.
00:56:16I kept that in the office for safekeeping.
00:56:18It's always been mine.
00:56:19A nobody like you claiming to be the Eagles team captain.
00:56:22When the real team captain hears about this, you're going to get sued for defamation.
00:56:26Don't even bother, Colin.
00:56:28This whole family is delusional.
00:56:31They think they're better than everyone else.
00:56:33This lying is in Athena's blood, and clearly she's passed it off to her sons.
00:56:38Hey, Felix, what are you having with us today?
00:56:47Hey, coach.
00:56:49Quick question for you, dude.
00:56:50Can a kid named Colin come in and grab that bottle from the office?
00:56:53No.
00:56:53I took it with you.
00:56:54Yeah.
00:56:55No?
00:56:55All good.
00:56:57One more thing.
00:56:58Put Colin from the team.
00:56:59We don't need him anymore.
00:57:01Okay.
00:57:02Done.
00:57:02Here we go again.
00:57:13Don't be scared.
00:57:14They're just messing with you.
00:57:18You had me for a second.
00:57:30What's wrong?
00:57:30Well, Dad, you're not going to believe this.
00:57:34They just kicked me off the team.
00:57:35What?
00:57:37Is Athena saying a son really the Eagles captain?
00:57:40He must be a big deal on the team.
00:57:43Even the manager of this since to him.
00:57:45This doesn't prove anything.
00:57:47Even if he is the captain, he can't actually get you fired.
00:57:50This is all staged.
00:57:53Anyone can fake an email.
00:57:57Son, you go check this out yourself.
00:58:00Don't let them fool you.
00:58:05They're full of it.
00:58:06Everything that they say is a joke.
00:58:08What makes you say that?
00:58:10I have proof.
00:58:12Oh, yes, proof.
00:58:14I have proof.
00:58:16Everyone, look.
00:58:18These white truffles prove they're lying.
00:58:22I brought those.
00:58:23So what's your point?
00:58:24Are you kidding?
00:58:26This was a gift from the V Research Institute to celebrate me getting accepted.
00:58:32Oh, wow.
00:58:34The V Research Institute.
00:58:35Mm-hmm.
00:58:36I didn't know that they were accepting applicants.
00:58:39Well, I don't know what to tell you, but I was accepted by the associate director personally.
00:58:45Personally accepted by them?
00:58:47Who?
00:58:48Associate director.
00:58:49Associate director.
00:58:51Hey, Zach.
00:58:52I heard that you accepted a new student named Clara.
00:58:55Mr. Sterling.
00:58:56I'm sorry.
00:58:57I can explain.
00:58:58Yeah, well, you better explain quick, because I want to know why you went behind my back
00:59:01and accepted a new student when we haven't accepted anyone for five years.
00:59:05I, I'm sorry, Mr. Sterling.
00:59:08I just needed somebody to help me out.
00:59:10All right, cut the crap, Zach.
00:59:12What is really going on?
00:59:13It's her.
00:59:14It was her.
00:59:21Clara bribed me.
00:59:22I was just being stupid.
00:59:24I went along with it.
00:59:26You fired Zach.
00:59:33Take your student and get out.
00:59:38Unopened this nonsense.
00:59:40This is just a setup to humiliate my kids.
00:59:43Don't worry, darling.
00:59:45Liars.
00:59:50Hello?
00:59:50You ungrateful bitch.
00:59:53I raised everything to get you in.
00:59:55And now we're fired because of you!
00:59:57That was the associate director. He just yelled at me and said that I ruined his career.
01:00:04Oh, no, no. There's gotta be a mistake.
01:00:08Oh, please. That was obviously a fake call. Anyone can make a fake call.
01:00:13Why are we still talking to these people anyway?
01:00:16Let's call the police and get them for trespassing already.
01:00:20Don't you dare insult my sons like that.
01:00:29Dad, look. Just got another email from the Eagles.
01:00:35Dad, look. Just got another email from the Eagles.
01:00:39It's from the official team. I actually got kicked off.
01:00:44This can't be.
01:00:47You can't absolutely fire him. I mean, they're lying.
01:00:53What a bunch of idiots still living in her dream.
01:00:56How did this happen? Does this mean that I can't enroll either?
01:01:00So it's true. Athena's sons really are the captain of the Eagles and the director of the Research Institute.
01:01:08No way. Everyone, listen to me. Those three are brothers. Of course they're in a scam together.
01:01:17They're probably running some con.
01:01:19Shut up.
01:01:21You can insult me all you want, but don't you dare drag my sons into this.
01:01:27Who's trying to mess with Edwin?
01:01:29You mess with him? You mess with me?
01:01:38You mess with him? You mess with me?
01:01:42There they are. Riot!
01:01:44Ah, I see. Still pulling dirty tricks. That's all you got, huh?
01:01:49You're a bunch of liars. And you stole our gifts.
01:01:53Stole? You think that caviar is a kick from you?
01:01:56That's right. This was a gift from the CEO of the Nolan Group.
01:02:02And they gave me a high salary. Of course they don't want to make me feel welcome.
01:02:07So, they sent this to each other's appreciation.
01:02:09Ah, okay. So you're sure that that gift was from the Nolan Group's CEO?
01:02:15Of course I'm sure. Once I settle into my role at the Nolan Group, I'm going to be making millions.
01:02:21You couldn't even dream of competing with me.
01:02:24Edwin is so successful.
01:02:26My son is incredible.
01:02:28Edwin, you've made me so proud.
01:02:30With money, anything is possible.
01:02:34Claire, I can pay for you to enroll in an even bigger, more prestigious institution.
01:02:38And Colin, I can fund an entire private hockey team and make you a team captain.
01:02:42I can pay for you to enroll in an even bigger, more prestigious institution.
01:02:44And Colin, I can fund an entire private hockey team and make you a team captain.
01:02:50Really? That's amazing.
01:02:51Thank you, Edwin.
01:02:52Just wait until I'm fully settled in Nolan Group. This will be very soon.
01:02:56You know, Edwin, what I heard is that you're not an executive of Nolan Group at all. You're just an entry-level employee.
01:02:58You're just an entry-level employee.
01:03:00I can pay for you to enroll in an even bigger, more prestigious institution.
01:03:02And Colin, I can fund an entire private hockey team and make you a team captain.
01:03:07A team captain.
01:03:08Really? That's amazing.
01:03:10Thank you, Edwin.
01:03:12Just wait until I'm fully settled in Nolan Group. This will be very soon.
01:03:17You know, Edwin, what I heard is that you're not an executive of Nolan Group at all.
01:03:23You're just an entry-level employee, barely making over minimum wage.
01:03:28Yet you promise this million-dollar salary. It's just crazy.
01:03:32Yeah.
01:03:34Well, what do you know? You bottom-feeding loser.
01:03:38So you're just jealous. That's what it is. You're jealous. That's why you're trying to tear me down.
01:03:43You know, that's too bad, Edwin.
01:03:46Because you're not going to be an entry-level employee anymore.
01:03:51I messed with my mother.
01:03:54So I'm sent a fire from Nolan Group.
01:03:59Listen to yourself.
01:04:01Do you actually think that you're the CEO of the Nolan Group?
01:04:05Well, yeah, I am the CEO of Nolan Group.
01:04:08And that caveat wasn't meant for Edwin. It was a gift from me.
01:04:14Liar. How dare you pretend to be our CEO?
01:04:18I knew it! I've been doing this all along. We're nothing but skimmers.
01:04:23You know, the level of stupidity here is just truly unbelievable.
01:04:26You shut your mouth.
01:04:29Edwin is a hard-working, successful man.
01:04:33Unlike you, you're deplorable nobody's.
01:04:37A mother who gifts fake jewelry?
01:04:41And sons who take credit for other people's gifts?
01:04:46Fake jewelry? Mom? What did she talk about?
01:04:49I already explained everything to them.
01:04:51But they still believe that the Cullen and Blue Diamond is fake.
01:04:56And they think that the gifts that you've sent actually belong to their kids.
01:05:01So that's why you need to be optional, Steve.
01:05:04Wow. What not a clue with morons.
01:05:07Please. As if you useless nobodies could afford any of these gifts.
01:05:14You know, I just can't wrap my head on this.
01:05:16All you keep referring to us is nobodies.
01:05:20Oh, come on! Isn't it obvious?
01:05:23Athena is broke and uneducated.
01:05:26There's no way that her sons can be successful.
01:05:29Now, even if you rent fancy suits and luxury cars to make yourself important, you can't hide what you really are.
01:05:41An absolute waste of a human being.
01:05:44And don't you go telling people you're related to me.
01:05:48Because I do not want to be embarrassed.
01:05:52Mom, my sons are not liars.
01:05:55Nobody would believe you.
01:05:57And Athena, I've already disowned you.
01:06:01Your sons no longer mean anything to me.
01:06:05So, just get out.
01:06:10Just get out.
01:06:14Edwin, get rid of them.
01:06:17Alright, time to move.
01:06:20What?
01:06:21Wait!
01:06:22Isn't that the guy who delivered the gifts earlier?
01:06:25Why is it back?
01:06:26I remember you.
01:06:28You're the CEO's personal assistant, Mr. Aaron Davis.
01:06:33You came just in time.
01:06:35This idiot is pretending to be CEO.
01:06:38Take care of this right now.
01:06:44Mr. Davis, what are you doing?
01:06:48Did I say something wrong?
01:06:50You're the idiot.
01:06:51You have it all wrong.
01:06:52He's the one pretending to be CEO, not me.
01:06:53How dare you touch my son!
01:06:54Your son is clearly blind.
01:06:55He just has been in a very powerful mess.
01:06:56Even if I see him to death right here, he got no one to blame by himself.
01:06:57A powerful man?
01:06:58Who?
01:06:59Mr. Nolan?
01:07:00Mr. Nolan?
01:07:01My CEO?
01:07:02Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:03Wait, did he just call Nolan his CEO?
01:07:05Uh-huh.
01:07:06Mr. Nolan?
01:07:07My CEO?
01:07:08Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:09Wait, did he just call Nolan his CEO?
01:07:11Uh-huh.
01:07:12Mr. Nolan?
01:07:13My CEO?
01:07:14Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:15Uh-huh.
01:07:16Mr. Nolan?
01:07:17My CEO?
01:07:18Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:20Wait, did he just call Nolan his CEO?
01:07:21Uh-huh.
01:07:22Mr. Nolan?
01:07:23My CEO?
01:07:24Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:25Uh-huh.
01:07:26Mr. Nolan?
01:07:27My CEO?
01:07:28Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:29Uh-huh.
01:07:30Uh-huh.
01:07:31Uh-huh.
01:07:32Uh-huh.
01:07:33Uh-huh.
01:07:34Mr. Nolan?
01:07:35My CEO?
01:07:36Forgive me for arriving late.
01:07:38Uh-huh.
01:07:39Uh-huh.
01:07:40Uh-huh.
01:07:41That's impossible.
01:07:42How can he be CEO?
01:07:44What?
01:07:45Does that mean that everything that Athena has said all day long is actually true?
01:07:50It's true.
01:07:51Athena, is this true?
01:07:52Yes.
01:07:53Nolan is the CEO of the Nolan Group.
01:07:56Victor is director of the Institute.
01:08:00And Felix is captain.
01:08:03Yes, Dad.
01:08:05And you are?
01:08:06I am the CEO of the Sterling Group from the very beginning.
01:08:10I never lied about anything.
01:08:12Uh-huh.
01:08:13What about the expensive caviar and the truffles and the wine and...
01:08:19Yes.
01:08:20I mean, those were gifts for my sons.
01:08:23I bought the blue diamond at auction.
01:08:25Every single word that I've said is true.
01:08:28I know.
01:08:29I know.
01:08:30I know.
01:08:32I never doubted you.
01:08:34I...
01:08:35I've just been gone for so long, so many years, and I...
01:08:40I came back to show you that I never let you down.
01:08:43I had no idea that any of this would end up like this.
01:08:49This has been a terrible misunderstanding.
01:08:53Finally, our family is together again.
01:08:57Let's just sit down, have some food, and talk things over.
01:09:04We already cut ties.
01:09:07You are about to throw us out, so there's no reason to stay.
01:09:12I'm sorry.

01:09:14Athena, tell your sons not to fire our kids.

So wrong on SO many levels. I wish when making movies about airlines, military, etc. someone would do their homework n get things right! The LEAD would have shut the other FAs down and quick, handled the situation, that's what they r the leads. SH of staff, pax etc. instant termination, and plane would have diverted to haul his ass off to jail. AND since 2 FAs were terminated the flt would have had to wait for new ones to arrive unless they overbooked them which is rare.
