00:00We have made big strides forward in these elections. Of course I want to go further and
00:04John Curtis has highlighted, as many commentators have done, that we now have an era of five-party
00:09politics in England, six parties in Wales, people increasingly thinking about where they're going to
00:13go and this is a time when the Green Party's growing and I'm ambitious for what that next
00:18stage looks like for the party. I want us to take another big step forward and I'd say to people
00:22looking around, looking at the fact that this Labour government has come in, is cutting funding
00:27in real terms to the NHS, to funding for local councils and other frontline services, is
00:32removing the winter fuel allowances, is removing the support, crucial support from some of the
00:37most ill and disabled people in society. If you want a different approach, if you want
00:41a liveable future, a fairer future where we support the most vulnerable, invest in our
00:45public services, then do what so many other people are doing, do what record numbers of
00:49people are doing and join the Green Party, be part of our movement for a fairer future,
00:53for saying we can fund the NHS if we ask the very richest in society to pay a bit more.
00:58We can have a liveable future where we take the climate action that reform is trying to
01:03stop and make sure that we do have a liveable future for our children and grandchildren and
01:07do it in a way where we support the most vulnerable people in society.
