Zack Polanski has been elected as the new leader of the Green Party of England and Wales following a national ballot of members. Returning Officer Stewart Christie confirmed the London Assembly member received 20,411 votes in a national ballot, beating off a rival joint bid by Green MPs Ellie Chowns and Adrian Ramsay – who secured 3,705 votes.
