Tamayo and Abarrientos make Gilas comeback in tune up games vs. Korea | Sports Desk

A number of UAAP standouts, making their comeback for Gilas Pilipinas. Among them, Rookie of the Year and UAAP champion Carl Tamayo of the UP Fighting Maroons and RJ Abarrientos of the FEU Tamaraws. The two players were named to the Gilas lineup that will face South Korea in a pair of tune up games later this week. Both Carl and RJ last played for Gilas during the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers in June last year.

Gilas is preparing for the third window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers which will tip off later this month.
