We went on a day trip to Lamahata on the 20th of January in 2019. The Lamahata Eco Park was inaugurated in 2012 and is currently one of the most popular tourist attractions in North Bengal. Among the words ‘lamahata’, ‘lama’ means ‘Buddhist monk’ and ‘hata’ is the ‘sacred ashram’. The serenity and elegance here make our minds pure and calm. The oneness of the human soul with nature can be felt here.
