My Bucket got a hole in it - Carlings 1993

It all took less than 30 seconds: father Hans drops the horn and sits at the piano, pianist Gerd walks and graps her trombone and trombonist Gunhild switches to trumpet and off they go again with the traditional jazz tune “My Bucket got a Hole in it.”
After an intense vocal by Gunhild and followed by a hot solo from Max on clarinet and a honky tonky piano solo by Hans, Gerd on trombone sets the style for the rest of the tune. She has studied the trombone playing of Louis Armstrong’s trombonist Trummy Young. Gunhild picks up the ensemble in the Louis All Stars style and the tune is brought to a great ending. Watch Gerd’s end lick, totally Trummy. Totally amazing.
Taped at a set during a gig at the Cotton Club in Hamburg.
