A blend of man-on-the-street-style interviews, performance footage, and confessionals, the film expresses an artistic soul through the words of artists across New York City: dancers, opera singers, boxers, skateboarders, chess players and fashion designers.

I had just moved to New York and I was fascinated by how I instantly felt connected with the people around me. With this in mind, I began speaking with artists throughout the city about this invisible energy. It was a wonderful discovery to find how everyone began speaking of the same feelings so passionately. I had set out to make a film about human connection. What I discovered along the way is that, without being fully aware of it, our passions put us in touch with the experience of being alive. As artists, this passion connects us, and it could possibly be why I feel so connected in my new home.
