Displaced Syrians brace themselves for the winter

As the conflict in Syria approaches the 21-month mark, the fighting between the Syrian army and rebels is still raging and the number of people who have lost or fled their homes is growing rapidly. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent estimates that at least 2.5 million people have been internally displaced by the conflict.
