Syrian rebels claim air base outside Damascus

Rebels take control of an air base just outside Damascus.
Amateur video out of Syria which could not be independently verified by Reuters, comes after four days of fighting.
Rebels are also trying to take the 20-month-old revolt to the heart of Damascus. They have dubbed this week "March to Damascus Week".
Rebel forces received a diplomatic lift Tuesday with Britain officially recognizing the opposition Syrian National Coalition.
It's the ninth country to do so following France, Turkey and the Gulf Arab states.
More footage appears to show a government bombing campaign in Aleppo Province.
