Shelling in Aleppo, air strikes in Damascus

In Syria's largest city of Aleppo, rebels prepare to fight back. (Rocket taking off) They targeted several neighborhoods, in this video posted to a social media website whose content Reuters cannot independently verify.

MIG fighter jets over Damascus --- the ability to attack from the air has been President Bashar al Assad's most valuable resource in his campaign against opposition fighters. He has a comfortable hold on the capital, and reportedly controls the highway leading to Homs and to the coast. His forces have made significant gains in recent months by circling major areas and cutting off food and medicine supplies. Rebels, however, are still in control of much of the desert.
