Regardless of where you live, we all value our savings for that rainy day. But a couple in Ukraine found out that their savings had been used in an unexpected way.

Their 9-year-old boy reportedly stole those savings in order to accumulate a big stash of candy. The child’s mother and father kept almost $4,000, their entire life savings in their home.

The cash was kept in an area under the couch, but when the dad returned home from work, he noticed that all of the money was missing. Once confronted, the boy admitted to stealing the cash to curb his sweet cravings.

Apparently, the child couldn’t consume the massive amount of candy, but he did one good deed; sharing the treats with his friends. Earlier this year, another young boy was involved in a theft.

A 4-year-old boy in Sweden reportedly stole his mother's keys while she slept, hopped in her vehicle and drove her car almost one third of a mile before getting into a minor crash.
