Jean Calvin (1509 – 1564) – French theologist, church reformer, founder of Calvinism. Reformative ideas of Calvin became widespread in many countries of the world. It is possible to say that a modern Western person is Calvin's creation. It is "a person who is able to choose between good and bad, and faces the future without any fear."
