There's been an explosion at a nuclear facility in Marcoule, in Southern France. One person's been confirmed killed and several others injured. The blast followed a fire in a processing area of the site. Officials earlier warned of a possible radiation leak, but say no emissions have been detected. The facility handles nuclear waste with low levels of radioactivity. Paris-based journalist Moe Seager told RT that nuclear energy's turning into a costly - and risky venture for France.
