This video documents the air recon of the Cache Creek Fire on 31 August, 2012. The dramatic terrain and timber pockets combined with wind events to present a challenge to fire suppression. The OR IMT 3 (Central Oregon) is returning command of the fire to a local Wallowa-Whitman NF Type 3 team on Wednesday, 4 September.
