How to Form an LLC in Nebraska under the state statute 21-2606 which allows any resident in Nebraska to operate and conduct business affairs in the name of a Limited Liability Company.

Steps
1 Choose Your Name. - The first step in the formation process is to choose a name that best fits your business. You can make sure that your name has not been taken by searching the Nebraska LLC Database.
2 Fill-In Articles of Organization. - Fill out the official application for forming an LLC which is the Articles of Organization. You will need to submit this to State as well as:

3 Wait For Mail. - Now you must wait for your LLC to arrive in the mail. This can will take between 7 to 10 business days from sending.
4 Apply For EIN Number. - If your LLC has more than 1 Member or you will be opening a bank account in the LLC's name, then you will need a Tax Identification Number. Applying only takes about 15 minutes and you can do it online.
