How to form an LLC in Washington according to the statute 25-15-070 and is applicable for any resident seeking to form a Limited Liability Company through an Articles of Organization.

Steps
1 Choose Your Name. - Choose the name of your LLC. It is recommended that you choose a name that is related to the industry that you will be entering as well as making sure the name brand-able.
Check to see if your LLC Name is available by checking it in the Washington LLC Database.
2 Get Washington Articles of Organization. - This is the official application to form an LLC in the State of Washington. You will need to completely fill in this form.
Attach a check of $180 to the 'Secretary of State'
Send filing fee and Articles of Organization to the following address: Secretary of State, Corporation Division, 801 Capitol Way S, PO Box 40234, Olympia WA 98504-0234
3 Wait for Documents. - You must wait for the LLC to arrive in the mail. The State of Washington takes approximately 5-7 business days. Your filing should arrive at the mailing address of the principal office.
4 Apply For EIN. - If you will have a business bank account tied to the company, you will need to apply for an employer identification number. Much like a social security number identifies you to the IRS, an EIN identifies your company.
