On the night of January 17th it began to snow in Western Washington. By morning some of the snow had started to melt; but later in the day it got colder, again, and more snow fell. The trees were iced over and covered with additional snow. Branches were breaking at a rate of about 10 every 15 minutes. This is some of the aftermath of the snow storm, which left my area without power for 100 hours (a little over four days). I live near the cities of Puyallup and South Hill, Washington. 1080HD format converted to 640 x 480.
