VideoCacheView is the best way in my opinion to download videos from youtube.
To download videos from youtube using VideoCacheView:
1- Download VideoCacheView here: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/videocacheview_setup.exe, and install it.
2- Open the video you want on youtube.
3- Wait until the video completes loading then go to Start menu then All Programs then NirSoft VideoCacheView, and choose "Save All Opened Flash Videos".
4- Choose the folder which you want to save the video in.
5- Check the option "File description to generate the filename" to save the video in its original name, and you can modify that description if you see any difference to be the same as the original name.
