00:00What's the best piece of business advice you've ever received, would you say?
00:04I would say that you understand that, you know, leadership or managing a business,
00:09managing people is you never stop learning.
00:12And the EQ that develops around that and just the ability to, like you said,
00:17be open to advice and feedback, but still be able to stand on your own two feet on,
00:23like, what your gut says.
00:24And that decision-making process, because a lot of people want that power,
00:28but it's a very heavy weight when you're being able to take care of your company,
00:33your employees, people that make the opportunity successful.
00:37Mine would be to sleep on it.
00:39So I have the tendency to ruminate, to feel like I owe people an answer,
00:45or to have the tendency to, like, not want to let anybody down,
00:50so I feel a sense of urgency in all things business.
00:53And so the best piece of advice I've gotten is to truly, like, sleep on it,
00:58like, to make sure that you're getting a rest,
00:59or else I'm one of those people that will be up all night just ruminating,
01:03and then the brain isn't functioning,
01:05and you're getting half of the work done that you could have
01:07if you'd gotten a restful night's sleep.
01:09And so that's something very, very, very recently that I've taken to heart,
01:14and I've noticed it makes a huge difference for me.
