The world of professional basketball is stuck in a costly time-out as the NBA's players and its owners remain at loggerheads over how to divvy up the league's four billion dollars in annual revenue. So far, 100 pre-season games have been scrapped -- costing both sides hundreds of millions of dollars -- and cancellations could yet run to Christmas.
