Leidmann's classic monograph Foxy Lady,voted by Vogue as a cult book,was his first success.Seven other books followed.Leidmann created a uniquely new avant-garde style
of cutting edge expressionism.
He has influenced filmmakers, creative directors,musicians
and a generation of photographers.His trademark stands for the strength
and power of the images and the quality and vigor of his work.Famous for his
long resume of works and publications,by force of masterful compositions,
he visually explores an imaginary world with irony and imagination.
Although his style got copied,admired,critizised,it grew and remains
immediately recognizable amongst all. Recently Leidmann replaced
his tongue-in cheek spirits with a new interpretation of our real
world,showing the"toxyttcity"of modern life.Artist Ypsitylla von Nazareth accompanies
