Hidden Finds at Pawn Shops - European Village Model

Hidden Finds at Pawn Shops - European Village Model - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. This is a homemade model of a little village, I am sure in Europe. It is lit from underneath with Christmas lights somebody added. I am really not sure of the why it was made but whoever made it, the picket fences are all individual pickets, the windows have tinted cellophane. It is just an amazing piece of work that somebody did. Here is a piece of cardboard that says, this could be Czechoslovakia but I do not read many languages. It is too much detail, it is too finely done. I am sure this was Eastern or Northern Europe where the winters were cold, people stayed inside and this might have been something they did to pass the time. To make a model of their little village. I was at a yard sale and I bought it because I just thought that it was so unusual and cool.
