Weddings: Guidelines on Interviewing Vendors - as part of the Wedding series by GeoBeats.

When interviewing vendors, first and foremost, you want to make sure that you like their style and the service that they are providing. So, I would recommend looking at their website and pictures in their portfolio to make sure that they can provide the look and feel that you are going for.

So, if there are florist, you want to make sure that there is pictures of flowers arrangements that look like what you want. Also, it is important to ask for references from previous clients. So you can call those clients and ask about their experiences with the vendor.

And lastly its really important that they have a business license and they provide you contracts for everything that you have talked about. Someone that does not provide a contract you definitely want to stay away from. And also someone that does not have business license, might charge you less, but at the end of the day, they might not show up on your wedding day and you want to feel confident that you have hired the right person that is going to do a good job.
