Weddings: DJ or Band - as part of the Wedding series by GeoBeats.
My name is Lauren Sozmen, I am the owner of Loli Events. I think this piece is goes back to the budget. I always say that if you don't have the budget that is going to allow you to spend money on a very good band, then definitely opt for the DJ and if you do want a live music aspect then maybe just do a drink cocktails and do like strings or maybe just do like a guitar or some of that.
I mean the things with bands is that if mostly, unless you have 10 pieces or more, it really does not sound right. You can't get enough of the songs, or variety of songs, and it just ends up not being worth. You end up spending all this money and the band still does not sound great.
So if that is the case then I would just go towards getting a DJ which is a much better round and you will be able to do as many songs as you want.
