Dry Fire Practice - Traditional Two-Handed Pistols - Hand Positioning

Demonstrating traditional two-handed style of pistol shooting, where the gun is held with one hand and cocked with the other.

Your Main Hand
The pinky of your main hand should be wrapped below the grip, anchoring it in your hand and reducing slip.

Your Secondary Hand
Your secondary hand is used only for cocking your pistol, not for support. Wrap your index finger around the front of the trigger guard. This becomes the pivot point of movement for cocking the hammer. The rest of your fingers should be splayed out, and never touch the gun or interfere with firing.
